The spokesperson of the Islamabad Capital Police says that security has been put on high alert in Islamabad. All officers have been directed to stay in their areas, checking has been increased in all areas of the city, and traffic is flowing normally in the city.

Three to four workers of the Tehreek-e-Insaf have been arrested in Zaman Park. The police tried to disperse the workers, but when they refused, they arrested the protestors.

Chairman PTI’s request regarding Tosha Khana’s case being inadmissible was rejected. Judge Humayun Dilawar remarked that the crime against the accused is proven.

The District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad reserved judgment on the case of Tosha Khana’s criminal proceedings against Chairman PTI.

Judge Humayun Dilawar ruled that the accused has been found guilty of submitting false details to the Election Commission, and the Chairman of PTI has been found guilty of corrupt practices. The court sentenced the PTI Chairman to three years imprisonment and disqualified him for 5 years.

Lawyer Khalid Yusuf said, “I can’t tell you about it, Khawaja Haris will come to the session court.” Judge Humayun Dilawar said that the session court had called Khawaja Haris at 8:30. The judge, talking to the lawyer PTI, said that if the accused does not appear on the first call, a non-bailable arrest warrant is issued.
